IDT 5130: Interactive and Digital Tools for Learning
Course Description:
This 6-week online course focuses on the design and development of various forms of interactive instructional media to support learning. This course will provide experiences in investigating, designing, developing and integrating a variety of interactive instructional media and mobile devices.
Instructor:
Dr. Nicole Arrighi
Course Reflection:
This course allowed me to bring together several skills and abilities that I have developed throughout the program, including the ability to select and develop various instructional media, design and utilize assessment tools, and incorporate research and learning theory in instruction. The assignments were scaffolded to build from basic technology and interaction to a more sophisticated recording to a plan to gamify a course to an actual course within a learning management system (Versal). The assessment plan assignment brought these previous assignments together to allow me to explore the incorporation of formative, summative, and confirmative assessments, while the ISTE Coaches Alignment Plan allowed me to reflect and confirm my learning. I appreciated the combination of creativity, technical skill, and pedagogical knowledge that this course encouraged and built within me.
The course artifacts I developed for this course can be accessed below.
