After a thorough process of feedback and revision, students are required to present their final ePortfolios or build a course to showcase their work and demonstrate achievement of program competencies.
Instructor:

Course Reflection:
This course offered me the opportunity to bring together the skills and knowledge I gained in the program in a very tangible way via my capstone project and portfolio. My capstone project involved leading a team of faculty through the curriculum mapping process to prepare for an accreditation audit. This process resulted in several expected deliverables and several more that had been unplanned but necessary during the process.
The capstone experience highlighted for me several newfound strengths I developed while completing the program: 1) the ability to articulate rationale behind my instruction-related decisions, 2) the confidence to make suggestions and recommendations to others regarding design of courses, learning activities, and assessments, and 3) the understanding that projects evolve over time, and one must approach the project and involved team members with agility and flexibility in planning. It was also particularly rewarding to see how my new learning could be applied to an instructional need to benefit a program and institution.
The course artifacts I developed for this course can be accessed below.
